ABOUT ME.
I love envisioning the small details and the big picture.
I love writing and creating long-lasting moments, likewise to the scene pictured above.
Therefore, this website serves as a public display of my visions, my creativity, my thoughts, and my ideas as expressed primarily through writing. But first, continue reading to learn a bit about my roots...
As a writing and public speaking enthusiast, I earned my Associates in Arts and Sciences degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Although I learned much living in the culturally diverse environment of New York City, I desired to continue my education in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at Messiah College.
I am passionate about exercising my skills in writing, editing, communicating, and researching, which were developed under my supervisor and account executive, Megan Earley, at Bravo Group during the spring of 2015. Since many of my transferable skills were developed through this internship experience, the Executive Summary and Job Descriptions tab highlight my role at the internship. I further developed my skills through various volunteer experiences at Habitat for Humanity, Bethesda Missions, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Manna on Main Street, Karen's Place and others.
Looking ahead, I want to work as an event planner or marketer in the fashion industry or sports industry. During the two years that I spent in New York City, I cultivated a strong interest for the homeless community, so I will dedicate my spare time to volunteering for homeless organizations in the Philadelphia area. Wherever I work though, in volunteering experiences and paid positions, my only desire is to make a positive impact in people's lives.
I'm just living what I love.
